About the Role
Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations across our HQ and local offices, delivering top-tier support and maintaining operational continuity. In this role, within the Group IT support team you will play a crucial part in managing two key areas:
1. VIP Support for HQ Offices: You will be the initial point of contact for technical issues and onboarding of new users at the headquarters. This includes setting up hardware and software, ensuring smooth integration into the office environment, and providing immediate technical assistance as required.
2. 2nd line support for local Country IT Teams: You will handle incoming support tickets from various local country IT teams. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving issues, escalating when necessary, and ensuring timely and effective solutions in accordance with our SLA standards.
Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot desktop and system issues and diagnose and solve hardware/software incidents/problems.
• Provide exceptional first-line support to HQ office users, focusing on hardware and software issues.
• Manage the technical onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and access in place to perform their roles effectively.
• Address and resolve tickets received from local country IT teams, coordinating with second-line support when required.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Office 365 applications and other office software.
• Support the IT infrastructure by adhering to and managing SLA thresholds.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.
• Handle administrative tasks within Active Directory, including user account management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships across the business to facilitate effective support.
• Assist with the offboarding process to ensure secure and complete removal of access for departing employees.
Candidate requirements
• Education and minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a technical support.
• Interest in keeping oneself up to date with advancements in technology.
• Ability to problem solve within a technical, IT environment.
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong customer service approach.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic work environment.
• Collaborates well with others, likes to be part of a team.
• Fluent in English.
Technical skills
• Microsoft 365
• Azure AD and On-prem AD
• Desktop applications
• Experience in working in an ITSM system i.e., ServiceNow, Fresh service, or similar.
• Device Management- Microsoft OS 10, Android OS, and printers.
