Product Manager to LEKAB Communication Systems

Today, LEKAB is a leading global provider for automated communication solutions and process automation. To help grow the company further, LEKAB is looking for a Product Manager to join the team in Stockholm.

As a Product Manager at LEKAB Communication Systems, you have the main responsibility for Cloud services within our Smart Messaging product area. Our current focus is on Incident Management and Resource Allocation, but we are intent on moving into other verticals as well. Your responsibilities extend from increasing the profitability of existing products to releasing new variations of the product. Your main focus will be on positioning the product on the market and identifying relevant verticals where the product will be marketed. You will work closely with sales and marketing to define the go-to-market strategy, and lead internal efforts for all to understand the product positioning, key benefits, and target customer.

You are part of the commercial organization and reports to CCO, but you will also work closely with the development department to define the product and its release requirements. As a Product Manager you bridge the marketing and development organizations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing the products life cycle in terms of strategic planning and defining feature updates to existing and future products
  • Establishing market requirements for current and future products by conducting research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Supporting Sales with in-depth product knowledge at client meetings
  • Developing and implementing a company-wide go-to-market plan
  • Work in conjunction with Sales/Marketing to develop and manage product material
  • Pricing of each product based on market conditions and cost of development/support/operations etc.
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the product in conjunction with CCO.
  • Market evaluation, including competitive analysis

To succeed in the role of Product Manager it is important that you have at least 3 years of Product Marketing/Strategy or Product Management experience, preferably in a rapid growth tech savvy environment. You also have experience from project management and are comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users. Experience from Cloud is a plus as well as experience from working in an international environment. Another bonus is if you are familiar with Jira.

As a person you are curious with a strong willingness to grow and learn new things. You are proactive and business-oriented and easily interact with colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties. You take full responsibility for your work and you have a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. In addition, you are structured and well-organized with an overall technical understanding and interest.

Post-secondary education is a requirement. You must be fluent in English and Swedish, both in speech and writing and good knowledge in additional languages is a plus.
