IT-support Specialist

About the Role

Your role is central in ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations across their HQ and the local offices spread across the world, by delivering top-tier support. In this role, within the Group IT support team you will play a crucial part in being the initial point of contact for Exceutive management and VIP users providing 1st-line support. This includes, resolving technical issues and onboarding of new users at the headquarters. This includes setting up hardware and software, ensuring smooth integration into the office environment, and providing immediate technical assistance to users.

The second and larger part of this role is delivering 2nd-line support for local Country IT Teams in the company branch offices. You will handle incoming support tickets from various local country IT teams, when they cannot resolve issue you step in to tyroubleshoot and fix it. You will be able to escale when necessary, but you will ensure the timely and effective resolutions to the issues.

Long term we believe that this role can grow further to take on delivering internal projects or coordinating larger IT-initiatives

 

Responsibilities

• Address and resolve tickets received from local country IT teams, coordinating or with third-line support when required
• Troubleshoot desktop and system issues and diagnose and solve hardware/software incidents/problems.
• Provide exceptional first-line support to HQ office users, focusing on hardware and software issues.
• Manage the technical onboarding process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and access in place to perform their roles effectively.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Office 365 applications and other office software.
• Handle administrative tasks within Active Directory, including user account management
• Assist with the offboarding process to ensure secure and complete removal of access for departing employees.

Candidate requirements

• 2–3 years experience with technical support, user administration and infrastructure operations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Full of initiative to be able to handle situations where all facts are not given
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing in English.
• Strong customer service approach.
• Self starter with a strong internal drive to solve problems and see tasks to the finish.
• Professional confidence
• Good coordination skills and abolity to communcate well
• Team player – someone that has an aptitude for collaboration with others and likes to be part of a team.
• You have to hold an individual valid residence or work permit under Swedish or EU regulations

 

Technical skills

• Strong experience from 1st line support in the Microsoft eco-system.
• Confident navigating and performing basic tasks in tools like Microsoft 365, Exchange Online & Intune admin center
• Basic but solid experience and knowledge in Entra, Azure AD and On-prem AD
• Understanding of Sharepoint and Teams administration
• Experience from providing Desktop and enterprise application support
• Experience in working in an ITSM system i.e., ServiceNow, Fresh service, or similar.
• Knolwedege in supporting user & desktop devices like Microsoft Windows 10/11, Android OS, printers and conference room equipment.
